What is Microsoft Office (MS Office) – Who Invented First

Microsoft Office is an office suite of desktop applications, servers and services for Microsoft Windows and OS X operating systems.
The Microsoft Office Suite contains does not include every program in every version of Microsoft Office. Every Microsoft Office suite offers Word, Excel, PowerPoint Access and One Note, but the suites contain different features and programs for home and business users, people who need access only on the Internet and those who need offline access, and for different payment options.
Microsoft Office was first announced by Bill Gates of Microsoft on 1st August 1988 at COMDEX in Las Vegas. Initially a marketing term for a bundled set of applications, the first version of Office contained Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint. The current versions are MS Office 2013 was released on 29 January 2013.

Microsoft Excel ::
Microsoft Excel is a spreadsheet program that is used to enter and maintain data in table form by default. It contains row and column to enter data with option to select sheet.
Data, Formula and view option add extra advantages in presentation of data in MS Excel.

Microsoft PowerPoint ::
Microsoft PowerPoint is a presentation program for. It is used to create slideshows, composed of text, graphics, and other objects, which can be displayed on-screen and shown by the presenter or printed out on transparencies or slides.
Microsoft Access ::
Microsoft Access is a database management system for Windows that combines the relational Microsoft Jet Database Engine with a graphical user interface and software – development tools.
Microsoft Access stores data in its own format based on the Access Jet Database Engine. It can also import or link directly to data stored in other applications and databases.
Microsoft Outlook ::
Microsoft Outlook is a personal information manager. The replacement for Windows Messaging, Microsoft Mail, and Schedule+ starting in Office 97, it includes an e-mail client, calendar, task manager and address book.

Microsoft One Note ::
Microsoft One Note is a freeware note taking program. It gathers notes (handwritten or typed), drawings, screen clippings and audio commentaries.

Open Office ::
Open Office is the leading opens source office software suite for word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, graphics, databases and more. It is available in many languages and works on all common computers.
It stores all your data in an international open standard format and can also read and write files from other common office software packages. It can be downloaded and used completely free of charge for any purpose.
