Microsoft Office is an office suite of desktop applications, servers and services for Microsoft Windows and OS X operating systems.

Every Microsoft Office suite offers Word, Excel, PowerPoint Access and One Note, but the suites contain different features and programs for home and business users, people who need access only on the Internet and those who need offline access, and for different payment options.
Microsoft Office was first announced by Bill Gates of Microsoft on 1st August 1988 at COMDEX in Las Vegas. Initially a marketing term for a bundled set of applications, the first version of Office contained Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint. The current versions are MS Office 2013 was released on 29 January 2013.
